Universal Testing Systems


Another individual construction feature of all MTI mid-range floor models frames with dual test bay capability is the fusion of a suitably sized through hole in both load-bearing surfaces of the moving crosshead. The Universal Testing Systems  load cell can then be positioned on the  crosshead (either surface) and load fixture attachment rods can project simultaneously into both test bays. This permits  for easy setup of two totally different types of tests without having to remove and reposition hardware on a frequent basis. You can easily do  a tensile test in the upper bay and then hastily execute a compression test or a bending test below the moving crosshead of the testing machine without adding or removing your fixtures.

 

In the Materials testing machine all systems are fully computerised. Its control system with full characteristics and capability including data-base analysis and networking.All types of  testing, such as tensile testing, can be controlled based upon Displacement, Load, Stress or Strain.
